SUMMARY

If you are using the Works for Windows Communications module with VT220 terminal emulation, the NUMLOCK key is turned on by default.

To turn off NUMLOCK, do the following:

NOTE: The following steps assume that all the non-Terminal settings are correct.

  1. Create a new Communications document in Works.
  2. Click Cancel in the Easy Connect dialog box.
  3. From the Settings menu, click Terminal.
  4. Click VT220 in the Terminal list box and click OK.
  5. From the Phone menu, click Easy Connect, then press the ENTER key.
  6. After connecting, the NUMLOCK key is turned on.
  7. From the Phone menu, click Pause.
  8. Press the NUMLOCK key to turn it off.
  9. From the Phone menu, click Pause.
Now NUMLOCK is turned off.
