How to Remove a Border from a Text Box |

When you insert a text box drawing object in a Word document, the text box
automatically displays a black border.
To remove the border, do the following:
This procedure resets the line style for the next object you make. For
example, if you insert a Rectangle or Ellipse as the next object, the new
object will also have no border.
Note: Setting the line style to None in the Paragraph Borders dialog box
has no effect on the border of a text box. (To locate this option, choose
Borders And Shading from the Format menu, select the Border tab, and under
Line, select None.)
