The information in this article applies to:

• Microsoft FoxPro for Windows, version 2.6
• Microsoft FoxPro for MS-DOS, version 2.6

SYMPTOMS

In FoxPro version 2.6, you cannot rearrange the order of fields in the Selected Fields list box of the Screen Wizard or Report Wizard.

WORKAROUND

Add the fields to the Selected Fields list box in the order you want.

STATUS

This behavior was modified in Visual Foxpro for Windows, version 3.0.

Identifying the Dialog Box

Regardless of whether FoxPro for Windows or MS-DOS is run, or whether the Screen Wizard or Report Wizard is used, the dialog box containing the Selected Fields list box always contains the following question:

   Which fields do you want to include?

Steps to Reproduce Problem Using Screen Wizard

1. From the Run menu, choose Wizard. Choose Screen.

2. Choose Open. Select CUSTOMER.DBF from the TUTORIAL subdirectory in the

   main FoxPro directory. Choose Open.

4. Choose Add All.

Note that you cannot rearrange the order of the fields placed in the Selected Fields list box.
