SUMMARY

In Microsoft Excel, the Visual Basic Help incorrectly states that the default value for the TabRatio property of a Window is 0.75. The correct value is 0.60.

MORE INFORMATION

The TabRatio property of a window sets the ratio of the sheet tab region to the width of the document window. To verify the default value for this width, do the following:

  1. Open a new workbook.

  2. Insert a Visual Basic module.

  3. From the View menu, choose Debug Window.

  4. In the Immediate pane, type the following:

         ?ActiveWindow.TabRatio

  5. Press ENTER.

The value 0.6 should be displayed. This is the correct default value for the TabRatio property.
