Using Default Standard and Overtime Rates from Resource Pool |

kbusageIn Microsoft Project, when you create a resource in a project that is sharing resources from a resource pool, the resource is added at the default standard and overtime rates that are set in the resource pool.
When you change the Default Standard Rate and Default Overtime Rate option, and choose the Set As Default button, the new rates are used in the current project file, and in any new project you create.
However, these default rates are not used in project files that you
have already created.
Additionally, when you add a resource to a project that is sharing resources from a resource pool, the resource is added to the resource pool
at the default rate that is set in the pool.
To add a resource to a project, using the Default Standard and Overtime Rate from the project instead of the resource pool, do either of the following:
