SUMMARY

When you import text from an outside source (other than Microsoft Word
version 6.0 for Windows), all quotation marks will remain normal and not be
transformed into Smart Quotes.

MORE INFORMATION
================

The Smart Quotes feature of Microsoft Publisher is only for use with
text that is created within Microsoft Publisher and will not affect
text that has been imported or pasted from other applications other than
Microsoft Word 6.0 for Windows. The Microsoft filter for Word 6.0 does
recognize Smart Quotes from within the document and will maintain the
quotation marks as Smart Quotes.
