Resource Work Units Don't Update to Work Default Units |

kbusageIn Microsoft Project, when you assign a resource to a task, and you then change the default work units, the resource Overtime Work and Actual Work fields are not updated to the new units in the Task Form when you change the resource work.
To view all the resource work values with the same units, do either of the following:

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
In Microsoft Project, you can change the default work units for your project by selecting the units from the Show Work In list on the
Schedule tab of the Options dialog box.
In Microsoft Project version 3.0, you can make this change by setting
the Default Work Units value to the desired units in the Preferences dialog box. Note that in Microsoft Project version 3.0, this behavior only occurs with the Overtime Work field.
