Works: Printing Color Charts with HP DeskJet Driver Version 4.0

If you are using version 4.0 of the HP DeskJet printer driver, use either of the following workarounds to print charts from Works with the correct colors.

Workaround 1

Copy and paste the chart into a Word Processor document as a picture or bitmap as follows:

1. While viewing the chart, choose Copy from the Edit menu.
2. Open a Word Processor document.
3. Place the cursor where you want the chart to be placed.
4. From the Edit menu, choose Paste Special.
5. In the Paste Special dialog box, select Picture or Bitmap and choose the Paste button.
6. Print the chart from the Word Processor document.

Workaround 2

Use version 3.1 of the HP DeskJet printer driver. This driver prints charts from the Works Spreadsheet module correctly with multiple colors. With this version you must configure the 560C printer as a 550C printer.

This is a problem with the HP DeskJet printer driver version 4.0.
