BUG: Cancel from Mail Merge Save As Dialog Cancels Wizard

SYMPTOMS

The Mail Merge Wizard terminates when the Cancel button is chosen in the Save Merge Data dialog box.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in FoxPro 2.6 for Windows. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

Steps to Reproduce Problem

1. Use any .FPQ file (a query created with the SQL Query Wizard) from the

   query tab of the Catalog Manager.

2. From the Tools menu, choose Mail Merge. Select Word 6.0 as the word

   processor and select the default options for the rest of the wizard.

3. Choose Finish on final screen.

4. A Save As dialog box will appear. If you choose Cancel in this dialog

   box, you will be returned to the Catalog Manager rather than the wizard.
