SYMPTOMS
In Word 6.0 or 6.0a, if you print a document containing a white drawing
object placed on top of a black object to a Hewlett-Packard PaintJet, a
Canon LBP-4, or Canon LBP-4 Plus printer, the drawing will print as if the
black object is on top (obscuring part of the white object).
STATUS
Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information here in
the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
WORKAROUND
Format the top, white object with a color other than white.
MORE INFORMATION
Microsoft tested this situation using version 3.09 of the LBP driver
(LBPIII.DRV) and version 1.65 of the generic driver (GENDRV.DLL).
Reverse video (white text on a black background) prints correctly.
Setting Print Flags using the SetPrintFlags macro had no effect on
the problem.
