SUMMARY
If your Windows NT or Windows NT Advanced Server print server uses Data
Link Control (DLC)-controlled printing devices, they must all have either
continuous connections or job-based connections; you cannot have some
connections of each type.
DLC printing does not allow you to configure some Hewlett-Packard (HP)
network printing ports as job-based and others as continuous. All ports
need to have the same type of connection.
The HP products discussed here are manufactured by Hewlett-Packard Co., a
vendor independent of Microsoft; we make no warranty, implied or otherwise,
regarding these products' performance or reliability.
