SYMPTOMS
When you click the Bullets button on the toolbar in Works Word Processor, the bullet in the
document may appear as a random symbol instead of the default black dot.
You may also encounter this symptom when you click Paragraph on the Format menu, and then click Bulleted on the Indents and Alignment tab.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if the TrueType Symbol font or the
bitmap Symbol font is missing or damaged.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, use the Fonts tool in Control Panel
to reinstall the Symbol fonts.

MORE INFORMATION
When you create a bullet, Works attempts to insert the
bullet character from the Symbol font (character #0183). If neither Symbol font
is available, Works uses the same character (character #0183) from a different
font.
