SUMMARY

If there is not at least one digit on both sides of the decimal on a Word Processor file's decimal tab, the decimal will not line up correctly if there are any nondigit characters (such as $) to the left of the decimal.

For example, $.98 on a Word Processor file's decimal tab will align as if the decimal was to the right of the 8, instead of aligning on the actual decimal.
