Table Borders Preview Correctly but Print Incorrectly |

In Word, some table borders that appear in print preview correctly print
incorrectly.
For example, if you format a three-row, two-column table with a top border
in cell A1 and a left border in cell A3, the border appears correctly in
print preview but prints with an unwanted top border in cell A3.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Word 6.0, 6.0a and 6.0c for Windows. This problem was corrected in Word version 7.0 for Windows 95.
Format the unwanted borders as white:
