Outline Structure Lost Using Publish and Subscribe

SYMPTOMS

If you create a publish edition of task information that is in an outline format and the edition is not created as a picture, the outline structure will be visible in the preview but will be lost when you subscribe to the edition.


WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, do the following:

  1. Copy your tasks.


  2. Move to the new location, and then paste the information.


  3. Immediately after you paste the information, choose the Paste Link command to link the information over the top of the just-pasted information.


This procedure will preserve your outline structure, and you will have the tasks dynamically linked (using dynamic data exchange, DDE) to your copied area.
