This problem may occur in several situations:

During a shared installation of Works (Setup /A), you specify to install Works to the root directory of a network drive. For example, if you connect to a network server as drive P: and during Setup /A you specify the installation directory to be P:\.
On a network, you connect to a root directory to install Works to the workstation. For example, let's say you install Works to a network server by running Setup /A, and you specify the installation directory to be P:\MSWORKS. However, on the workstation, you connect to this network server and map a drive X: to P:\MSWORKS. The SETUP.EXE file for Works is then in X:\.
On a standalone computer, Works has been installed to a root directory. For example, during Setup the installation directory was specified to be C:\ instead of C:\MSWORKS or some other subdirectory on the drive.
On a standalone computer, the SUBST command is being used to remap the MSWORKS directory. For example, during Setup for Works you specify to install Works to C:\MSWORKS. In the AUTOEXEC.BAT a SUBST command is remapping this directory to a different drive (for example, SUBST C:\MSWORKS X:\). The icon properties for Works will show the Command Line setting as X:\MSWORKS.EXE.
