BUG: SET MARGIN Does Not Work in FoxPro for Mac or Windows

The information in this article applies to:

• Microsoft FoxPro for Macintosh, versions 2.5b, 2.5c
• Microsoft FoxPro for Windows, versions 2.5x, 2.6, 2.6a

SYMPTOMS

SET MARGIN does not affect the left margin when you are printing in FoxPro for Macintosh or FoxPro for Windows.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

SET MARGIN is used to set the left offset of printing. It works correctly in FoxBASE+/Mac.

Steps to Reproduce Problem

The following program illustrates the problem:

   SET PRINT ON
   SET MARGIN TO 0
