SYMPTOMS
========

When you start Setup for Microsoft Publisher, the following error message
appears after you are asked your name and company name:

   Could not write to the file A:\SETUP.INI. Please verify that the
   destination drive has enough disk space.

RESOLUTION
==========

Some manufacturers (OEMs) who licensed versions of Microsoft Publisher
shipped the installation disk 1 of the Setup series with the write-protect
tab in the open position. By moving this tab to the closed position,
Publisher will now be able to write to the floppy disk.

MORE INFORMATION
================

When you first run the installation program for Publisher, your name and
company name are written to the Setup disk 1 for registration purposes and
to discourage unlawful copying of the product.
