SYMPTOMSIf a screen or report containing grouped boxes is transported from FoxPro for Windows or FoxPro for Macintosh to FoxPro for MS-DOS, the boxes are not be correctly joined after they have been transported.
CAUSEThis behavior occurs because FoxPro for Windows and FoxPro for Macintosh are both graphical environments and draw the boxes as graphics. When the file is transported to FoxPro for MS-DOS, an attempt is made to substitute matching line-drawing characters from the ASCII character set. Regrouping the boxes forces FoxPro for MS-DOS to choose the desired line- drawing characters.
RESOLUTION1. After the file has been transported, select the two boxes. 2. Ungroup the boxes, then regroup them. The correct connecting characters MORE INFORMATION
