256-Color Graphic Edited in Microsoft Drawing Updates Wrong |
Q115152
After you edit a 256-color graphic in your Word document and Word updates
the graphic, the shape and colors of the graphic are rearranged in a
unintended, undesirable manner. This problem occurs when your Windows
Picture Editor setting specifies Microsoft Drawing.
You can choose Undo from the Edit menu to return the graphic to its
original image.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Word versions 6.0 and 6.0a for Windows. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
