    • Microsoft Access Solutions Pack version 1.0

    SYMPTOMS

If you close the Main Switchboard form in the Asset Tracker application included in the Microsoft Access Solutions Pack and then reopen it, the Administration button is not visible.

    CAUSE

The Asset Tracker application's Autoexec macro runs a function that sets the Administration button's Visible property to Yes if you have permissions to use the feature. When you close and then reopen the form, the Autoexec macro is not rerun, and the button's Visible property is not set to Yes.

    RESOLUTION

    1. Run the application's Autoexec macro. To do this, double-click the <Restart Asset Tracker> macro in the Database window, or close the Asset Tracker application and then restart it.
    2. If the Administration button is still not visible, verify that you have the appropriate permission for this feature.
