PRB: Error in FontBold Property Help Menu Topic

    Article ID: Q115568

    The information in this article applies to:

    • Microsoft Access version 2.0

    SYMPTOMS

    Novice: Requires knowledge of the user interface on single-user computers.

    The "FontBold Property" Help menu topic in Microsoft Access version 2.0, incorrectly states that the FontBold property applies only to reports.

    RESOLUTION

    The FontBold property applies to the following controls on forms and reports: combo boxes, command buttons, labels, list boxes, text boxes, toggle buttons, and toggle buttons in option groups.

    Note that the Print method in the "Description" section, and the Access Basic code example in the "Remarks" section, of the Help topic only apply to FontBold as a property of a report.

    MORE INFORMATION

    You can use the FontBold property to change text between bold and normal rather than using the FontWeight property. Like the FontWeight property, you can read and change the FontBold property in any view. For example,

       FontBold=False (0) is equivalent to FontWeight=400

    while

       FontBold=True (-1) is equivalent to FontWeight=700.
