Included below is a list of Word 6.0 properties, features, and an
explanation of how those features are converted to and from ODA (FOD26)
documents by the ODA converter supplied with the Microsoft Word ODA (FOD26)
Converter Kit.
Each section covers a group of Word 6.0 properties and their ODA (FOD26)
equivalents. The key is as follows:
Yes The feature exists in both products and is converted from one
product to the other.
No The feature exists in both products but is not completely
converted between the two.
N/S The feature is not supported in one of the products or
or is not converted completely between products or that
Fallback the fallback conversion is used.
S/C See the associated comment.
Note: The converter should be installed in the Word 6.0 for Windows
directory or a directory on the MS-DOS path. If this is not done, the
converter will not run. Setup proposes the Word 6.0 for Windows directory
by default.

"Fallback" is a term used by the ODA consortium to define what is an
acceptable output format if a particular ODA feature cannot be supported.
