SYMPTOMS
Moderate: Requires basic macro, coding, and interoperability skills.
You create a custom color with the Color Builder, but after you quit and
restart Microsoft Access the custom color is gone.
CAUSE
Custom colors created with the Color Builder are only available in the
Microsoft Access session in which they are created.
RESOLUTION
To use custom colors in other Microsoft Access sessions, write down the
custom color number that the Color Builder places in the object's property,
or highlight the number and click Copy on the Edit menu. You can then
type in the custom color number manually, or use the Paste command to paste
the number into other objects' properties.
