PRB: FoxPro for Windows GP Fault in TOOLHELP.DLL Under OS/2

SYMPTOMS

When you are running FoxPro for Windows under OS/2, the following error message occurs:

   Application Error
   FOXPROW caused a General Protection Fault in module TOOLHELP.DLL at
   <address>. Choose OK. FOXPROW will close.

The FoxPro for Windows session is configured to run in WIN-OS/2 enhanced mode.

Change the settings for FoxPro for Windows so that it runs in WIN-OS/2 standard mode:

1. With the right mouse button, click the FoxPro for Windows icon.

2. In the menu that appears adjacent to the FoxPro for Windows icon,

   click the arrow to the right of the Open item. From the submenu that
   appears, choose settings with the left mouse button.

3. When the FOXPROW.EXE settings dialog box appears, choose the Session

   tab.

4. Click the WIN-OS/2 Settings button. In the dialog box that appears,

   choose WIN_RUN_MODE from the list of settings. Change the value of
   this setting from 3.1 Enhanced Compatibility to 3.1 Standard.

5. Save this change.
