PRB: Windows Setup Names .EXE File Icons "\DOSDEV\FOXW.EXE"ID: Q116277 The information in this article applies to:
SUMMARYWhen you are using the Windows Setup program in Program Manager to search for .EXE files to make icons for, Windows will give an .EXE file made with the FoxPro for Windows Distribution Kit the name "\DOSDEV\FOXW.EXE". This icon name will appear regardless of what directory the .EXE file is in and what name the .EXE file has. You can change the icon's name by selecting the icon, choosing Properties from Program Manager File menu, and typing the new name in the Description box. NOTE: The Windows Setup program can't make an icon for an .EXE file made with FoxPro for MS-DOS.
