WordPerfect Cannot Perform Batch Conversion

SUMMARY

WordPerfect 5.x and 6.0 for Windows do not include batch conversion capabilities.

WORKAROUNDS

Method 1: Use ConvertPerfect, by WordPerfect Corporation, which supports batch conversion and is designed for use with WordPerfect 5.1 for DOS. For more information about ConvertPerfect, contact WordPerfect Corporation at (800) 321-4566.

Method 2: Use the Batch Conversion macro, supplied with Word 6.0 for Windows, to convert batches of word processing files. The Batch Conversion macro is part of the CONVERT.DOT template file, which is located in the WINWORD\MACROS subdirectory.

Note: Word Setup installs CONVERT.DOT when you perform a Complete or Custom installation, but not when you perform a Minimum or Typical installation.

The Batch Conversion macro converts to and from the following WordPerfect file formats from Word 6.0 for Windows file format:
