Font Changes Made by Macro Not Retained in Header or Footer |
Q117341
If you run a macro that uses the FormatFont WordBasic statement to apply
font formatting in the header or footer of your document, Word for Windows
does not save the font formatting changes.
By contrast, Word DOES save font formatting changes you apply using a macro
that contains the Font statement.
We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
If you plan to use your macro to format text in the header or footer of your documents, use the specific WordBasic commands such as Font, FontSize, Style, Bold, and so forth, to apply font formatting. Do not use the FormatFont statement.
