SUMMARYWhen you save a file in Microsoft Excel, the Summary Info dialog box may be displayed after you choose the OK button in the Save As dialog box. Choosing the Cancel button in the Summary Info dialog box cancels any changes you made to the Summary Info information; choosing this button does not cancel the Save or Save As operation (that is, the file is still saved). This behavior is by design.

Once you choose the OK button in the Save As dialog box, the file is saved.
