------------------------------------------------------------------- The information in this article applies to: - Microsoft Publisher for Windows, versions 2.0, 2.0a ------------------------------------------------------------------- SYMPTOMS ======== When printing a Microsoft Publisher document, you may receive one of the following error messages if your document contains corrupt WordArt objects: Mspub Caused a General Protection Fault in module GDI.exe at 0013:1C74 -or- You may be out of hard drive space or there is a problem with your registration. The latter message continues to display no matter what you select. RESOLUTION ========== You may also delete the existing Word Art frames and re-create them. NOte: If you are not using any special text effects, you can use text frames instead of WordArt frames. This will make the file a lot smaller, and it will run faster, too. NOTE: When you troubleshoot a GP fault in GDI.EXE, make sure you follow the normal troubleshooting procedures before assuming it is a WordArt problem.
