The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Publisher for Windows, versions 2.0, 2.0a
-------------------------------------------------------------------
SYMPTOMS
========
When printing a Microsoft Publisher document, you may receive one of
the following error messages if your document contains corrupt WordArt
objects:
Mspub Caused a General Protection Fault in module GDI.exe at
0013:1C74
-or-
You may be out of hard drive space or there is a problem with your
registration.
The latter message continues to display no matter what you select.
RESOLUTION
==========
You may also delete the existing Word Art frames and re-create them.
NOte: If you are not using any special text effects, you can use text
frames instead of WordArt frames. This will make the file a lot
smaller, and it will run faster, too.
NOTE: When you troubleshoot a GP fault in GDI.EXE, make sure you follow the
normal troubleshooting procedures before assuming it is a WordArt problem.
