Doc Err: FILENAME Help Topic Contains "/p" Instead of "\p" |
Q117692
In the "FILENAME field" Word Help topic, the "\p switch" instruction appears to use a forward slash (/) instead of a backslash (\) character.
Wherever the "\p" switch is formatted as italic, it looks like a forward
slash instead of a backslash. This Word for Windows Help topic is correct,
but it appears incorrect.
Note: Wherever the "\p" switch is not formatted as italic, it displays
correctly.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the versions of Word listed above. This problem was corrected in Word version 7.0 for Windows 95.
Use the backslash (\) before the "p" switch.
For information about using FILENAME fields, double-click the Help button on the Standard toolbar, and then type filename field.
