SUMMARY

Page 205 of the "Microsoft Publisher User's Guide" provides instructions
for removing hyphens from Publisher. The manual states:
When Publisher inserts hyphens, you can only remove them using
the Hyphenate command. Double-click the word you don't want
hyphenated and then choose Hyphenate from the Tools menu. Choose
the No button in the Hyphenate dialog box to remove the hyphen.
If you follow these instructions, you'll notice the No button is not
available (dimmed).
WORKAROUND
==========
1. Select the text frame from which you want to remove hyphenation.
2. From the Tools menu, choose Hyphenate.
3. Select Confirm Every Automatic Hyphen. Choose OK.
4. Choose Yes or No for each word, depending on whether or not you want
the hyphen.
MORE INFORMATION

The workaround above applies when automatically hyphenating a story.
If you manually hyphenate the story, the hyphens can be selected and
deleted as normal text.
