SYMPTOMS
Inserting a very large OLE component into the Works Word Processor
module may cause part of the inserted object to appear missing.
Works does not allow an OLE component to cover more than one page in the
Word Processor. If Works cannot fit an entire object on a single
page of a Word Processing document, it will resize the object
proportionately so it will fit.
This behavior is by design.
To Reduce This Effect
- Make the OLE component as small as possible before copying it to the
Clipboard.
- Make the page margins as small as possible in the Works Word
Processor document in which you want to have the object.
- Place the insertion point on the first line of an empty page in the
Word Processor document.
- Paste the object into the Word Processor.
- Resize the object as needed to show as much of it as possible.
