SYMPTOMS

When you are trying to convert a FoxBASE+ for Macintosh report or screen to FoxPro for Macintosh, you receive the following error message:

   File ID type is incorrect for FoxBASE+/Mac SCX or FRX file!

FB+MIGRATE.APP will not convert the report or screen.

There is a space after the "X" in the file's extension.

Remove the space at the end of the screen or report filename.

1. Create a FoxBASE+/Mac report and name it TEST.FRX (followed by a space).

   Close the report.

2. Start FoxPro and run the FB+MIGRATE.APP file located in the

   GOODIES:FB+MIGRATE subfolder.

3. Choose the Convert Files button.

4. In the "File Converter - Step 1 of 2" screen, specify the source and

   destination folders.

5. In the Available Files box, select TEST.FRX, and then choose the Add

   button to move it to the Selected Files box.

6. Choose the Convert button.

You will get the error message mentioned above.
