FIX: "Internal Consistency Error" in RQBE with ISBLANK()

SYMPTOMS

When the ISBLANK() function is used in the Relational Query by Example (RQBE) window, an "Internal Consistency Error" is returned.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in FoxPro 2.6a for Windows FoxPro 2.6a for MS-DOS.

Steps to Reproduce Problem

1. In the Command window, issue the following commands:

      USE <filename>
      CREATE QUERY

2. Under Field Name, select Expression, and type "ISBLANK(<fieldname>)"

   (without the quotation marks).

3. Under Example, type ".T." (without the quotation marks), and then choose

OK.

4. Choose the Do Query button.

An "Internal Consistency Error" appears and FoxPro quits.
