MORE INFORMATION

To add stationery to a menu, you must first save the file as a Word document using the same name as the stationery. To add the stationery to a Word menu, do the following:

  1. Open the file that you want to add to a menu.
  2. From the Tools menu, choose Customize.
  3. Select the Menus tab. In the Categories list, select All Commands, and then choose FileOpenFile from the Commands list.
  4. The name of the file will appear in the Name On Menu box. If you have multiple files open, choose the appropriate file from the FileOpenFile menu (this menu is visible only when multiple files are open).
  5. From the Change What Menu list, select the menu you want to add the file name to.
  6. Select a position on the menu from the Position On Menu list. If you select Auto position, choose the Add button. If you select an item in the Position On Menu list, choose the Add Below button. Choose the Close button.
  7. Save the file in Stationery format with the same filename you gave the original document.
