-------------------------------------------------------------------- The information in this article applies to: - Microsoft Publisher for Windows, versions 2.0, 2.0a -------------------------------------------------------------------- SYMPTOMS ======== If a previously created and saved file is opened in Publisher, then closed, the file is updated with a new date and time reflecting the latest incidence of access. This is independent of any autosave options selected from the Tools menu. STATUS ====== This problem was corrected in Publisher version 3.0 for Windows 95. STEPS TO REPRODUCE PROBLEM ========================== 1. In File Manager, note the time and date of the Publisher file. 2. Open that same file in Publisher. (Make no changes to the file.) 3. From the File menu in Publisher, choose Close Publication. 4. In File Manager, note the file's new date and time.
