Microsoft Gateway Service for Netware (GSNW) may require you to increase the maximum number of file locks on your NetWare server.

GSNW establishes a single session to a NetWare server which it shares to multiple clients. If many client connections are made to GSNW, the number of file locks required on the NetWare server may surpass the default limit (250 per connection including open files). To increase the maximum number of file locks, type this command at the command line on the NetWare server:

Set Maximum File Locks Per Connection=X

where X is a value between 10 to 1000.

NOTE: For more configuration information, type SET and press ENTER at the command line of the NetWare server.
