Removing Numbering Does Not Restart Next Item at 1 |

After you remove the numbering from an item in the middle of a numbered list (using the Numbering button on the Formatting Toolbar), the list item maintains its indent, and the numbered item that follows does not restart at 1.
This behavior is by design. When you choose the Numbering button on the Formatting Toolbar, the paragraph is reformatted with Skip Numbering, which does not interrupt the list numbering and which maintains the item's indentation.
Format the item with Stop Numbering, rather than Skip Numbering. To do
