Not All Buttons Appear in Customize Dialog Using Large Buttons |

The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSIn Microsoft Excel, when you select the Large Buttons check box in the Toolbars dialog box, not all of the buttons are displayed in the toolbars Customize dialog box if you are using the million colors Monitor setting.
CAUSEThis behavior occurs when Microsoft Excel runs out of memory while displaying the rows of buttons in the Customize dialog box under these conditions. When the application runs out of memory, no more rows of buttons are displayed in the Customize dialog box. You receive an "Out of Memory" error message when you close the Customize dialog box.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
