MSQuery: No Data Returned If Sheet Name Contains Comma

SYMPTOMS

When you access Microsoft Query version Microsoft Excel, and you attempt to return data to a worksheet where the sheet name contains a comma, data will not be returned.

NOTE: You will not receive an error message when this happens.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, remove the comma from the sheet name and run the query again.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the versions of Microsoft Query listed above. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
