How to Upgrade to Word 6.0 for the Macintosh

Last reviewed: August 4, 1997

The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft Word for the Macintosh, version 6.0

To purchase an upgrade to any Microsoft product, including Word 6.0 for the Macintosh, you need to phone an authorized reseller. You should NOT phone the Microsoft Sales Information Center (MSIC) at (800) 426-9400.

This policy can be somewhat confusing because current Microsoft marketing literature refers customers first to a reseller, and then to the Microsoft Sales Information Center. However, when you phone MSIC, the representative refers you to a reseller.

Note: Microsoft Fulfillment [MEF] still processes orders for disk and documentation sets from the order forms included in Microsoft product packages.
