SYMPTOMS
Some function keys and Windows keys on the Microsoft Natural Keyboard do
not work properly on Toshiba 8500 desktop machines.
CAUSE
A problem with the Toshiba keyboard BIOS causes these symptoms.

The Toshiba 8500 recognizes the keyboard during the Power-On Self Test
(POST); however, it does not recognize some of the keys, including certain
function keys and Windows keys.
