SUMMARY

The Workgroup Message Handler for Lotus cc:Mail or Microsoft Mail for Windows NT is available from Microsoft Technical Support.

If you want to use cc:Mail or Mail for Windows NT to send, open, or read messages in Microsoft Project, you need to install the Microsoft Project version 4.0 Workgroup Message Handler. You must install the Workgroup Message Handler regardless of whether you are a project manager or a resource: project managers need it to open resource responses in Microsoft Project, and resources need it to respond to workgroup messages sent from Microsoft Project. If you are using cc:Mail, after you install the message handler, follow the instructions in this article to modify the way Microsoft Project is set up.

NOTE: The Workgroup Message Handler works only with cc:Mail or Mail for Windows NT.
