How Colors Are Specified for the WizardsID: Q119600 The information in this article applies to:
SUMMARYThis article explains how colors are specified in the wizards.
MORE INFORMATIONIn FoxPro for Windows, most gray areas are hard-coded. The color of these gray areas therefore cannot be changed. The color of most controls is automatic and will therefore change when system-wide color preferences are changed through the Colors icon in the Control Panel. In FoxPro for MS-DOS, the colors used by the wizards are specified in color scheme 15 and color scheme 16. When the wizards are invoked, they search for a "WIZARDS" color set in the FOXUSER resource file. If a WIZARDS color set is found in the resource file, it is used. If a WIZARDS color set is not found in the resource file, the wizards will attempt to create one. If the wizards cannot create a color set (for example, there's no resource file), the wizards will use the SET COLOR command to set the color of color set 15 and color set 16 to standard values.
