The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMS
When you try to drag-and-drop text into a text box in Word version 6.0,
nothing appears in the text box.
If you copy the entire paragraph and then try to paste the text in the text
box, you will receive the message "You cannot put drawing objects into a
text box, callout, annotation, footnote, endnote, or macro."
CAUSE
This occurs when you are copying or dragging a paragraph that contains the
text box's anchor.
RESOLUTION
Select the text of the paragraph but do not include the paragraph mark
itself. From the Edit menu, choose Cut. Move the insertion point into the
text box. From the Edit menu, choose Paste.
