FIX: Group Header Not Printing When Previous Group Has a WidowID: Q120192 2.5x 2.6x | 2.5x kbprint kbfixlist kbbuglist
The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSA group header band will not print if the previous group had a widow and Reprint Header On Subsequent Pages check box was selected in the Group Info dialog box.
WORKAROUNDIf Reprint Header On Subsequent Pages is not selected, group headers will be displayed for each group regardless of widows.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in Visual FoxPro 3.0 for Windows.
MORE INFORMATIONAn orphan is a single (or partial) line printed at the bottom of the first page from a single record, and a widow is a single (or partial) line printed on the second page from that same record.
Steps to Reproduce Problem1. Select the SALESMAN database, or any database with a memo field. 2. Design a report with the "Top--Field Can Stretch" option selected for 3. Order the database, and create a grouping and a group header band.

Note that the second page will show the widow with the group header
