The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSIn Microsoft Excel, when you print multiple copies of a document from print preview, only one copy is printed.
CAUSEThis behavior occurs only when you choose the Print button in print preview to print your document. This behavior also occurs when you print multiple copies of a document to a file (instead of to the printer) in print preview, by selecting the File option under Destination in the Print dialog box.
WORKAROUNDTo print multiple copies of your document, either to the printer or to a file, choose Print from the File menu, and enter the number of copies you want to print in the Copies box.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
