GP Fault Selecting Page Setup Header, Footer, or Legend Tab

The information in this article applies to:

SYMPTOMS

When you select the Header, Footer, or Legend tab in the Page Setup dialog box, you may receive a general protection (GP) fault in Microsoft Project.


WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, do one of the following BEFORE you choose the Page Setup command:

  1. Scroll through your project, or enter any task to avoid the GP fault.


  2. From the File menu, choose Print Preview.


  3. Display any dialog box within Project such as Summary Info.



STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
