SYMPTOMS
When you print a document to a Canon LBP-8IV printer, the first few pages
print correctly, but the remaining pages are blank.
CAUSE
This problem can occur if the Canon LBP-8IV printer is attached to the
computer with a parallel cable over 4 feet in length. The blank pages
occur because the Canon LBP-8IV printer defaults to a 30-second time-out.
This setting cannot be changed.
RESOLUTION
To correct this problem, connect the printer to the system using a
parallel cable shorter than 4 feet. This is the recommended length
specified in the Canon LBP-8IV printer documentation.
MORE INFORMATION
The LBP-8IV printer is manufactured by Canon, a vendor independent of
Microsoft; we make no warranty, implied or otherwise, regarding this
product's performance or reliability.
